HI enhanced competence in the field of elimination of micropollutants
Hydro-Ingenieure GmbH enhanced its key competence in the field of elimination of micropollutants through a couple of recently awarded contracts. The research projects are partly financed by MUNLV Düsseldorf (Ministry of Environment North Rhine-Westphalia).
- WWTP Bad Sassendorf (15,000 P.E.) - Ozonation
- WWTP Mannheim (700,000 P.E.) – Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC)
- Several projects comparing Ozonation, PAC etc. up to Reverse Osmosis
The research projects lead to new, cutting-edge results for the implementation of large-scale process units on wastewater treatment plants where elimination of micropollutants is an issue as a new, last treatment step. Specifically operators of WWTPs with existing but no longer operated filtration units may benefit from existing governmental financing opportunities.
